Can always remember going to this one with the old man, cant remember an awful lot about it but by the looks of the video it was pretty mad.

My front doors went in about 10 months after the event.
Totaly over the top, taken in and questioned all day, bailed, court twice, adjourned twice, plea bargained violent disorder down to threatening behaviour on a group plea and got a ban and suspended sentence, it realy wasnt that mad, the two groups never threw a punch at each other all day.
I admit I lost it after the game after my mate got smashed in the face by a brick the stokies were throwing from the banking above.

Left Caerphilly area at stupid o'clock and headed straight to Stafford. We met up in a Wetherspoons pub called The Picture House (converted cinema) and it was chaos from then on. There were mannequins of Superman in the pub and it wasn't long before he was launched from the back of the pub towards the bar. The bar was shut shortly after!!
O/B escorted us from there to Stafford train station to get the train to Stoke. After what seemed like an hour delay (due to cows on the line) we arrived in Stoke and were put on buses to go to the ground.
Within seconds of the buses pulling off there were windows being kicked out etc and we were made to walk to the Brittania. Gutted cos it was miles!!!!
Got there about half time!
After the game it was mental. I went up the banking to try to get a better view of where our bus was in the car park and got smashed on the head from behind by the O/B. Carnage for about 15 minutes
12 months later my front door was taken off early one morning and a 3 year ban followed!!
(I can spot myself on that video more than once too)

Remember that well as Jonesy said met in Stafford for a few pints then the Ob put us on buses. People started putting the windows in on the buses & throwing the seats out !! Got there half time,hell of a walk weren't it 
Ill never forget when we got in the ground everyone that was late rushed up into the stand & over to the stoke lot.Mad Mad day all round ,after the game the Ob must of used up all their Cs gas !!

Dad got arrested for being drunk b4 we even got near the stadium (through the metal dedector checkpoint!) he is a groundsman at the club so he and his colleagues who got done were spread all over the papers. I got bottled and had to go home on my tod to tell my old dear that dad wasn't coming home anytime soon. English police were treating it like a military operation all day, and they got what they wanted from us....WAR! good day though, still one if not the best ever, based purely on aggressive atmosphere which both sets of fans buzzed off.
