Anyone here do split shifts ? I bloody hate them

Waking up at 5am to be in work for 6am, then coming home at 8am to be back in work for 3pm the same day is annoying as hell.. it means I can't enjoy my evenings as I really am meant to go to bed early ( which I can't, I go to bed at 1am ). I am constantly knackered through the week just trying to grab a few hours here and there through the day.

Maybe I should be more responsible and go to bed early, but I have a life and do the normal social things people do in the evenings.

Anyone else here do them and hate them ?

I do shift work and thats hard enough. Often getting up at 2am having only had 3 hours sleep
Im hoping to god they dont introduce split shifts as I simply couldnt do it.

know how u feel mate,done them for 3 years,thankfully now constant nightshift.although bit of a bummer if i am working
fri nite and i have a bankies game on saturday. see youse at blackpool those that are going. clydebank/bluebirds on tour next week!
