So does that mean the guy or should we say murderer will get less time behind bars?
hope not, they should throw away the key!!

Yes but the sentencing for Manslaughter can be far less severe depending on the circumstances and whether the accused pleads guilty or not.

Yes its probably manslaughter and not murder because he didn't plan to go and kill him in advance. Just hope the judge is strong and makes an example of him and gives him A very long sentence. No sentence will alleviate the loss for mikes family but there would be some comfort at this very sad time if the guy gets a very long one or life.
