What is the point of bringing it up now?

Didn't Cardiff fans do something similar at Stoke last season?

I went to both home and away legs.

Away there was one chair thrown by a cardiff fan from what i could see, which didnt even reach the stoke fans, he threw it about 6 rows down, pathetic throw to be honest

Home it started to kick off in 118 but nothing happened. :ayatollah:

I was at ninian that night, and right next to me was that 3 foot wooden barrier,a scattering of ob standing the length of it and it was allways going to kick off.
Trust me ther were lads both side of that barrier and inisunt folk on both sides.
Ther were chairs flying from both sides and scuffling between both sets,I know as I caught one.Yes ther were kids ther but allso a lot of lads. And to be honest most times when things kick of in the grounds or streets ther is aways pepole caught up in it.But please don't make out swans were attacking kids as that is bull shit.,it was no kid that hit me between the terrified ob.

i agree with you Colours that it's crap that this is brought up again and again by young uns who weren't there, but as one of the very very few Cardiff that were let into the block alongside you that night,i can assure you there were no more than 15 Cardiff in there...however we were good in returning the seats !!!!

Ther were ob ther I can assure you of that.plus I saw who started that and with what, several cardiff come up to the barrier and started giving the big one4 or 5 not sure but ob were strugling calling for back up as more swansea were coming in and then heading straight over,on lad picked up a bunch of keys and threw it straight in the face of a cardiff lad who was bouncing about behind ob,that's when it all started,,was amazed they put us in ther what did they think was going to happen, then a 150 or so lads come on to the pitch from the bob and could easly have come in the lower section that was empty but stood back, and we also could have jumped down but did not,and before eather set had the balls the ob were ther,
but you had more then 15 lads in that stand because like us when we got in ther every one made straight to confront and banter was going on for a wile until it kicked of.
I was 1 of 30 young lads who got up ther on the early train and was taken to the ground over a hour before kick off,..

if you were in the ground an hour before kick off you should have noticed the kids in the enclosure in front of you
can you explain to me why when you say yourself there was a ccfc mob to your left in the grandstand (surely a prime target for you ) your fellow jacks were throwing seats below into the family enclosure
the lower section emptied as a result of scfc SCUM thats when we went on from the canton and bob bank
can you explain why you didn't jump down and join us which would have been a lot easier than us coming to you
saying that you wouldn't join the lads on your OWN pitch in 1984

Re: The Jacks throwing seats at children

Look it was a war going on seats were thrown and hopefully i hit a few
as long as they were the opposition is all that mattered, kids or women 50pts a head i think it was. men 100pts.
If they were kids then blame the parents for putting them in danger, coz i would have put mine out of dangers way
(throwing distance).
So whatever happened inside happened.Get over it or are the wounds you got done still raw,
outside on sloper road none of you lot would come near us, on your toes big time.
All i know is a lot of people got in for nothing due to turnstile operators and security being done over
so the gates were opened to let hundreds of swansea in for ;)
That was a result in itself & the shop being done over was a bonus, even if it was only maaaars baaaaars as you lot pronounce.

In all fairness to Swansealad69, he did actually admit that the jacks didn't have the balls to go on to the pitch that night and join the Cardiff who'd got on there. It was a bit of a gutless night all round for Swansea's "lads". Arriving late and then getting a police escort to the ground, following that up by throwing seats at the family enclosure below- very poor show!

Lads when we got in ther, ther were some cardiff ther but not a lot,as time went on it filled up.
Yes ther was kids ther but ther was in our end as it filled up,I think as your lads got in the stand they were supprised by us being so close to them, and like us made our way to confront.
And as for cardiff coming on to the pitch, you come accross and stoped, ther were some ob in the bottom tier but you stoped before you got ther, ther was not much chance of us getting down as it was packed and could not get down ther, but again if eather set realy wanted to they could have.
Like I said it started when a small amount of cardiff started juping about behind the ob,just abuse at first but as the fans come in both sets made ther way to the same area and by doing so normal fans on both sides moved away,
For you to say ther was women and kids next to swansea is bollox, who the f**k would take ther missis a.d kids in to an area were ther was abus and scuffleing,???
And whe you come on the pitch at the vetch I was a kid,and didn't know what was going on,but all you did is come on from under the new stand and run up to the north bank wile the game was on and then run back when swansea started climbing up the fence, and remember ther were ob all along the north bank but none in front were you were in the east.

Wow! What a hard man, throwing seats at women and children! :? :? If that's the best you've done against us, deep down you must be very embarrassed. Sad b*stard.

At the time of this match the whole of the Lower Grandstand was designated as the Family Enclosure. It was full of children with parents. I watched it all from the Bob Bank Terrace, and what happened was that there was a very large group of Jacks who arrived very late in Block A of the Grandstand. Some of these saw the easy pickings below them and started throwing seats and jumping down. The families were eventually led away to safety along the edge of the pitch to the Grange End.

The Jacks then started throwing seats at people in Block B and C. As anyone who was a regular at Ninian Park at the time could tell you, these sections were popular with older fans in their 60s and 70s. Eventually City fans from adjoining parts of the Grandstand went over to protect the elderly supporters and confronted the Jacks. Seats originally thrown by the Jack cowards were returned with interest.

Another thing I remember was when the Cardiff fans in other parts of the ground came running on to the pitch I have never seen people move so fast to get out of the ground. They were literally climbing over each other to escape! In the weeks after the game it became known that a video of the trip was being sold in Jackland pubs. Well I tell you what they must have been edited well because that night was a total disgrace to the Jacks. Cowards one and all.

Is it deckard or by the judgeing off yout post I take it dickhead,
I was two foot away in the upper tier from cardiff, you were the opposite side of the ground?you f*cking prick give us all a day off ffs.
Like I said you don't take kids and women were ther is going to be problems.
And as for swans fans running out of the stand?it shows what a complete bullshit wanker you are.
Were you even ther??and also as I have allready said it was a group of vermin who decided to come over and give the big one behind the safety of the ob at first,I know as I was ther a few foot away, and as more lads on both side come in they made ther wsy to confront, but of course when you have growen men trying to get at each other and slaging off, that's were you take your kids in your eyes, you f*cking clown.
And as for your lot who ran on to thr pitch?if they were so game why stop??at first ther were no ob on the pitch only in the stand, they could easaly come in to the lower section that was empty, but instead stoped 5or6 yards from the side.
Truth is we ripped up your seats and you are grasping at straws to save face, and all you have ever done down here is pull pipes off the wall and rub shit in the toilets.(now that's very brave)
