Some posters have talked about negativity on this board of late and expectations for this season being over ambitious by certain posters on here

I've just dug out a little bit of old news with comments from Jonesy, do people think what he says here is correct regarding these so called "high expectations"? Do we always expect to be at or near the top of the league regardless of circumstances?
