Swansea got up on the back of a loan move from Chelsea that hit a number of goals and on the back of that was able to give the team a lift - Would Swansea have gone up without that loan player?

Blackpool fluked it with a gem of a signing that is now playing for Liverpool.

Not the norm.

QPR, WBA. Sunderland, Wolves, Brum, Fulham, Newcastle Utd and many more have all spent money.

so the teams mentioned would have fallen away except for 1 player in each team, and i thought there were 11 players in a team,we need to instill a TEAM ethic, not a were f@ck all without a star, just my opinion :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

You don't think Charlie Adam was key for Blackpool? You don't think Adam pulled the strings? Really?

Swansea would not of gone up without Fabio Borini.

Borini?

Swansea wouldnt have got promoted if it wasnt for Scott Sinclair!! top scorer last year!

and swansea may not have spent a lot of money, but when they did, they bought blistering pace!

Something Cardiff have a worrying lack of, pace is a very important part of modern football, unfortunately our squad has no pace, Earny is probably our quickest player, but thats only over 10yards!

Scott Sinclair kept them close, but it was Borini's 6 in 9 that gave them a lift and that final push come the end of the season.

We spent £3m to get promoted probably less than Swans & Norwich & had only 1 player who could be considered a BIG player in Taarabt. You have your big player in Kenny Miller on massive wages so no excuses lads. You have a capable bunch much similar to ours, our biggest asset was / is Neil Warnock who makes ordinary players play much better than they should. Has MM got the same attributes? We will see.

And you tried with I don't want to play for anyone else Craig Bellamy, Jason Koumas, Seyi Olofinjana, Andy Keogh, Aaron Ramsey, Stephen Bywater etc etc all loan signings and tried to buy your way out of the league. It didn't work.

Oh please. They were up ther all season it wasnt soley down to Borini they got promoted. Scott Sinclair was their main man all season.

They also got up on the back of building a decent team over 3 or 4 years, adding quality each season. Not building from scratch every year.

Sums up Norwich last season.
i think we can make it to the play offs at least this year.Apart from west ham who are a quality team and i think will be nailed on to go up-who in this division is THAT MUCH better than us? Sure Leicester are splashing the cash and have a big name manager, but a team of big time charlies is not going to get u up-look at us last season if all the quality players we had had given their all we SHOULD have walked it ,but we didnt.
i for one think we will be in the mix at least and could surprise a few of the pundits who have classed us mid table.

So swansea went up only because of fabio?u f*cking silly twats.
Swans were in a play off position When he come here
Yes he give the team a boost, but its not as if we were in mid table when he come here, and we had not won a game.
You realy say somr stupid things

Bunch of f*cking tards on this thread.

You just loaned Borini cos Rogers had f**k all to do one afternoon?

Borini type signings can make or break a season.

Borini gave Swansea that extra lift just when the team needed it.
