FOUR TOUGH DAYS AHEAD FOR THE NERVES!!!

Sat Aug 27, 2011 6:26 pm

By Thursday morning, we will know if we have a 'squad' capable of
mounting a serious challenge. There appear to be a few sides this
season with aspirations of promotion, its a tougher division this
year!!

We need a Centre Back, we need a striker who can hold the ball up
and bring players into the game. We need another wide man as
cover.

Malky is keeping his cards very close to his chest, i cant fault him
on that. I have to have faith that he has his targets all lined up
like he did with Cowie, Conway, Gunnarsson etc.

But this next few days is going to be nail-biting time!!!

Agree Taff, would love 3 quality players, I would like a player like mc anuff, good holding striker maybe that Lukas Jutkiewicz fella, and Ben Turner as a centre half, then a few loans once the window is closed and teams confirm there squads. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Would like to see another winger (either side, as I reckon Conway or Cowie could switch if we had injuries) central mid and targetman striker.

If I was greedy a centre back as well, although I don't think thats as desperate as the others. He'd have to be better than what we've got, Turner is an interesting one, as is Chambers, but if we've got money then it'll cost a few bob to get the other 3 and they would be my priorities.

We have until the end of November to bring in loans so plenty of time. Loans window only closed from 1st to the 8th of September.

I agree with you Taff, but at the same time, I do expect players to leave as well
to free up the wages.

I expect Gabor, Parkin and Taiwo the ones making way.
