The deal to takeover Plymouth Argyle is going through.
Administrators say Bishop International have come up with the £6 million needed to save the club.
Legal teams are hammering out the final details now.
Fans have been holding a candle lit vigil outside Home Park.
It had been feared the club would go into liquidation if the deal fell through.
Paul Morrison from Devon's FA says it's been a worrying time:
"Every young footballer always has the dream of playing for a professional club, even more so for Plymouth Argyle because there's every chance they could possibly do it rather than try and join the likes of Manchester United, which is a long long way away. It's going to be awful news"
"Their nearest clubs are going to be the likes of Exeter and Torquay, but we're still talking a fair distance. God only knows how these young lads are going to cope and mums and dads the pressure on them trying to help the dream of a young lad. It's just so depressing at the moment"
The club's administrator had pledged to turn to other bidders if the deal collapses. But there are fears it would not give them enough time to scrape together the money that they need.
Last night ex-player Craig Noone wrote on Twitter, "Hope it's not true about my former club Plymouth Argyle going into liquidation tomorrow! The Team that gave me a chance!"
Boss Peter Reid is trying to mastermind a badly need win for the club tomorrow. He said, "It's a massive game. They're all big games. Them three points are imperative. We're down the bottom of the league. We've played some good football but we have to learn, as a team, to defend better."
Fan Adrian Miles: "Ridsdale's been given the deadline of Friday, to get the Football League share signed over to him, however, is this in his hands? You know, these decisions are being taken by other people. We've been on a bit of a rollercoaster for the last year or so, but it appears that the ride, one way or another, is now going to come to an end."
Such brilliant news for the fans and the people of Plymouth, good to hear!
