Vale this morning

Thu Aug 25, 2011 1:01 pm

Took my 2 boys to watch city train and was suprised 2 see a few players missing, I.e whittingham, cowie and beast. Another surprise I had was that a player unfamiliar to me was training , my oldest reckons it was George Boyd . While we were there my eldest googled him to compare pic and it looked very much like him, quality player if it is him. This is my 1st post hope it's useful one

Was also down the Vale - saw Whitts, Beast and Cowie

Most of the team who played Tuesday were in the pool so did not take part in training.

Gunnerson is fit but may be rested again on Saturday

Kiss is keen to get his first game seemed ok as well - although I am no expert

Everyone always seems to be on forums. Amazing really, how they can pick out players who are hardly household names.

On the George Boyd issue - I just googled him and it is a very good likeness to the player that was there!

Is there also some Spannish player training with city?

Is Gavin Rae still traning with the City ?

I dont think george boyd would of been training with us before being presented before press,
would of been smart work by MM,

I'd also add he would be a great signing we need a striker like him

And two minutes of research showed it's obviously not George Boyd.

It's Adam Smith. Pretty clearly.
