... was like last night. Absolutely fantastic on and off the pitch.
When it started, it was obviously a small crowd and there was little atmosphere apart from Huddersfield - it's going to be a long dull night I thought.
But it was a wonderful match which either team could have won. City didn't give up despite a worrying 25 minute spell where Huddersfield battered us. Cowie the pick of the players but Conway not far behind and well done Blake too.
The fans rose to the occasion - I was in the family stand but the Canton was absolutely rocking. Congas, Poznans, loads of singing and it looked as animated as I've ever seen it. Those in there looked like they were having a ball. Great stuff.
Being the City pessimist I am, I've always been worried what CCS would be like if we dropped a division or two and the crowds dwindled.
Now I know - it's fackin brilliant!
Well done to the club for the prices, well done to the players, and well done to those that were there. A massively enjoyable night.
