Is this the season to be going for it?

Just wondering with the lack of spending etc are the businessmen making a decision to keep the spending to a minimum on the basis that this is probably going to be the toughest season so far so is it worth mounting a challenge?

If it was my money I'd be a bit apprehensive to say the least.

Will this be the consolidation season, I'm starting to think it is?

As Hull, Burnley and that lot have proved in recent seasons, the Championship might be unpredictable but it is not a league where only the chosen few get promoted.

The last few seasons have been Golden oppotunities but we failed because we were led by a clueless donkey.

Now we have a decent manager in MM and I truely believe he can do it. It will be interesting to see how we do in November this season because under Jones that was always the month when the wheels started to fall off.
