iPhone / iTunes help needed

I have a problem....

I bought a load of albums off iTunes via my iPhone, stupidly I never got around to syncing my phone with ITunes or transferring my purchases. 
I lost my phone, then obviously when I set up my replacement I'm minus all those albums, can they be recovered?

Yes - just log in to your iTunes account - downloads on left (not sure I remember exactly til I get home) but they are recoverable .....

yeah once you signed in and selected a song/album you already paid for it will say " you have purchased this item already ..download ..yada yada
