I've seen Simle Minds 5 times, three times excellent and twice as ropey as, the stand out being Milton Keynes in '91 when they basically played all their best songs being ably supported by OMD and The Stranglers.

U2 were awesome on the Joshua Tree tour but a bit of a let down on subsequent tours (maybe it was down to The Alarm setting the tone ).

Saw Roger Daltrey in Newport a month or so ago and really had a great night. 'Baba O Riley' was as good a performance as I've ever seen. Would've loved to have seen The Who in the early 70's.

Pink Floyd at Earls Court was great but would've again loved to have had Roger Waters along for the ride.
