The Jacks were on their way home from Forest away & thought it would be their best chance to get a result in Cardiff late at night when 99% of lads have gone home. They went past the pub about 3 times to make sure there weren't many in there  Keep an eye on the clown in the white, very funnny when Cardiff catch him :D Check out the time

How is it the same.

Swim away 30+ of your port talbot Neath lot were chased by around 40 Jacks and you ran or should i say swam in Swansea Bay to escape a kicking.

Canton Mile - 20 Jacks pop in to Cardiff on the way home from Mansfield, smash up one of your lots pub and get a bit edgy backing off when the sound of sirens are in the air.

There is only one episode of cowardice amongst that lot, i'll leave you to work out which one.

From what I remember the Judge critised the Swansea fans for running off and leaving the 'white coat goat' on the ground to get a good kicking.

You can't get more of a result than a judical finding dertminding that Jack Barstard's are a bunch of cowardly wankers :geek:

The Swim Away Incident

Fri Aug 19, 2011 4:21 pm

In answer to the innacurate statement below by our resident gypo, and as someone who knows all of the swimmers involved personally, I thought i'd put the record straight once and for all.
The main group of 8, yes 8 Cardiff involved in the Swim Away incident were from Port Talbot and known as
The PVM (The Pure Violence Mob) or as us oldies used to call them, The Pants and Vest Mob, we called them that as they were all aged between 15 and 19.
This group were involved in trouble throughout the day, and after the game had several skirmishes in the County Hall car park with small groups of Jacks.
They chased a group of jacks out of the car park and down towards the beach, where there were a few handbags thrown and that was about it.
On making their way back to County Hall they were spotted by Swansea's main firm which numbered around 30 proper boys, and led by a guy called Tracy.
They were chased back toward the beach and were soon surrounded.
One or two had a bit of a kicking on the sand and were backed off right to the edge of the sea.
The only 2 options they had were to stand and have a go or back off into the sea.
It didnt take them long to realise that 8 kids were going to be no match for the greater numbers and much older heads in front of them.
2 managed to run away but the other 6 had to wade up to their knees to get away from the Swansea mob.
They were then pelted with stones by the jacks who stood and laughed at them.
At no time did any of them actually swim away, it was more like a wade away!! lol
This whole incident lasted no more than 5 minutes before the OB came to the PVM's rescue.

They have never lived it down to this day!
Also two of the waders are actually closely related to a Swansea City player!
    :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Yes Swansea's main firm led by a guy called Tracey (I kid you not)

Couldn't agree more mate.
Hard men join the army or take up boxing, where they can fight guys who ar the same size and who also want to fight, not kick the shit out of lads in small groups who are younger or weaker than them - thats just for inadequate bullies.

The Judge's summing up of the 'Canton Mile' incident when he described the Swansea fans involved as cowards who after they had met with some resistance ran away leaving one guy on his own said it all.

If i remember correctly the 2 Cardiff fans arrested were in their 50's too.

I'd. love to have a copy of the 'Canton Mile' thread from In The Know. They lied through their arses until the video came out.
If I remember correctly, they bravely turned up at well past 9 o'clock in Cardiff.
They had an early kick off somewhere in the midlands.
They could have got to Canton by 5 or 6 o'clock if my memory is correct.
They were obviously trying to make some sort of a show, rather than look for some real trouble.
But as the video showed, they got much, much more than they bargained for.
I also remember the limo incident.
I was walking under the bridge near The Ninian. A few limos went down Ninian Park Rd, and one carried on and went down Cowbridge Rd.
Surely if the wanted any trouble the wouldnt have passed hundreds, or probably thousands of City fans to head into the city centre. or maybe they didn't want any trouble, perhaps they just wanted to make a show ?
While I'm at it at, I was talking to Max in the square in Milan. He said he was really embarressed about the Swansea turn out. Apparantly, he had taken over 60 deposits, but only 12 of them actually had the bottle to go.
They were probably the intelligent ones if what we heared was true ;-)

Re: Canton Mile

Lads tell me who with all your posts and opinions of what happend were ther,??
I was ther and got knicked for it,one of seven who got done, and the judge said nothing of the sort lads.
The truth of what happend,we had two mini buses of to mansfield,we got ther only for the game to be called off.
We stayed for a wile and then mad our way home.

Ther were 30 of us in the two busess, our bus were decent lads the other what I call the g star lads, you know what I mean.
Our driver who got friendly with one of your main lads in italy, phoned your lad and asked him were to go,you were home to forest that day so had a few out we were told.
After keeping in touch all the way back we were tould were to go.
we drove past the pub and parked up down the road incase it went pair shaped.
We started walking up and the main lads were in front the g stare lot were not so keen so slowed down.
I was one of the first in and started to walk around the l shaped bar when I was confronted by a few lads looking for some one in particular,it was hard to see how many cardiff were ther and how many swansea got in but the pub was fairly full and lads came running down from the back,it hen kicked of and was nasty,I was hit over my back with a chair and fell over a table and landed head first in to a old birds lap,she then with the other oldish birds started hitting my with bottles.
By the time I got up most swansea were out side smashing the windows, and I was stuck inside alone with swansea trying to get back in and cardiff fighting by the door.
I made a move for the door to get out and after a fair kicking got out.
At first we were out side about 15 of us and cardiff were not coming out and some lads were chucking things in to the pub through the windows.
I must say it was not long but seemed ages.
By this time all we could here were sirens and we started walking back to the bus, that's when cardiff come out tooled up and throwing broken glas and every thing els they had,yes we were well on our toes by then.
One bus had allready gon with the g stars and left two more for us to take,17of us left.
I was nearest to cardiff as must of the lads were nearing the van,1 of your lads came up close (he was 1of your main lads ther,I ain't saying no names but starts with s)I was ready to have a pop as he was alone but the rest were 20 yards behind.
In all fairness to him he said you better f**k off as I would have been hurt badly if I stayed,he also said fair play you we had a good result but tould me to move quick.I put my hands down said nice 1 and went. This you can see on the video of it with me standing and he walking at me.I got back in to the van but ob stoped us from going
They then took us 1by1 and stood us in front of the cctv to try to identity us but Cardiff were coming fro all over and kicking of with the ob,so they got us out of ther as they were trying to get at us.I thought as did we all that the ob would pull us on the m4,but dawn raided us few weeks later.
That cardiff lad was a top guy as he could easly griped me and waited for the rest but he tould me to go,,I certainly owe him one.
That's the truth on the night lads take it how you want
Later found out we were going ther to arange a wales get to gether ffs.

Mate paul kane was done that night,he was not with the rest of us when we were on.
And mate,I take it you have never been done at football,as all judges say football hooliganism is cowardly and shame full.
I mean a well out numberd firm having a go and one gets nicked even he is a coward mate even tho he stood up to more lads coming at him.
I know mate as that was me against bris city up ther stood our ground 4 of us when around 11 lads came down, kicked off and ob done me.The f*cking judge called me scum and a coward the cheeky c**t and give me a two year ban.

Re: Canton Mile

Sat Aug 20, 2011 3:05 am

i picked up one swansea lad in my taxi in aberdare that night he said he had gone to cardiff in mini buses and got split up from the others and took a beating he seemed ok but had ripped stone island and a few cuts and had blood on his ear ..
he said they had gone to cardiff and come unstuck and that it was a silly idea..
was that you jack??

i also heard from another jack that when they were back in their mini bus some local who had nothing to do with any of it walked up to the bus and started butting it  the jack said he was a huge fucker about 6ft 4 anyone else hear that

Re: Canton Mile

Sat Aug 20, 2011 8:16 am

The guy you picked was not me but I think I now who you are on about,he got spit up from us,and he took a fair old pasting and a broken arm,I saw him the next day in a cafe.
As for the book,it was full of individual storys from older a nd younger lads,
the guys who put ther storys ate all good lads in fairness, but it did ruffle a few lads, and I think it was a bit rushed,
but I have read it and it is pretty much true (in the storys I saw).
Yes I know the lads you mention, wal,,, story is prob the best.
He is the one who should realy have done the book, been around on the scene a long time and allso traveled with othet firms, his story is spot on.
Can't remember any guy nutting the bus tho mate.
Mind you I just had a fair old beating my back and head was hitt the f**k out off so just wanted to get the f**k out of ther..
