Tonight - Not Worried

We've got such a small squad that we had to play the same players who worked their balls off in searing heat on Sunday against a Brighton team who had a whole 24 hours extra rest (quite a big advantage this early in the season when players haven't reached peak fitness yet). We didn't have a central midfield destroyer due to Gunnarsson and Kiss being injured. Cowie and Conway were clearly running on empty. The players are still getting used to each other. Brighton haven't just gone 3 games unbeaten, they've basically gone a year and a bit without knowing defeat.

Some people need to stop being drama queens. We're not going to win every game, we are going to get dicked every now and again and we still haven't got a strong enough squad. Malky is aware of it, everyone is. If you're moaning and speaking of doom, f**k off. No-one cares. It's the third game, we had a bad day at the office with a team that is well short of strength in numbers and ability.

I was still glad to see players who even with nothing left to give were running their balls off. The rest means nothing to me. :ayatollah:
