olympic mascot

Is mukmuk an official vancouver 2010 olympic mascot? I read online that mukmuk was a cyber olympic mascot and that there were no plush toys or t shirts of stuff of him. and that he was in cyber jail and that all the other olympic mascots got to be an olympic symbol but he didn't. Then i went online and went to google images and found plush toys of him. The article might have been written a long time ago but I found it on many sites. so here's my question is Mukmuk an official vancouver 2010 olympic winter games mascot?
