why do we play our games one day after majority of teams play? third game in a row!

u say that,
1) it's gap
and
2) West Ham were due to play Aldershot in the League Cup on Tuesday 9th August, despite playing on the Sunday 7th. We played on the Wednesday. So West Ham only had one day off, we had two. But the riots intervened.
