My view from Asia

Tue Aug 16, 2011 6:32 am

If this goes ahead with a full takeover at some stage it can only be good for the club. This guy is pretty smart and he has some very savvy business partners if he can get them involved. You also have to see the potential in Asia, Singapore, Malayisa, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, Thailand - all football mad. When the bombs went off in Jakarta earlier this year and Man U pulled out of playing there they plated a second game in Kuala Lumpur and another 70,000+ turned up. If we can tap into that market and the Malaysians have their own "premeirship" club it can only be good for us

Keep the faith

There is no interest in Asia whatsoever for a championship club. Premiership or nothing for the slopes.
