McNaughton and Cowie called up for Scotland - Damn!!!

Just heard on SSN that Cowie and McNaughton have been called up for Scotland's mid-week friendly. Good luck to them both, just hope they avoid injury - McNaughton always seems to get injured when he is called up by Scotland. We're not gonna have any players against Oxford though.

A carling cup exit wouldn't bother me tbh, still good to progress but not gonna lose sleep if we lose

Good on them, Kev deserves is, but who says they'll play ... no doubt their there just to make the numbers up like usual!

Be a chance to see the youngsters hopefully, give these academy players a run out like jarvis, farah, etc, and other squad members like quinn who been struggling can get game time, can start gestede to give him another chance, heaton a chance to stake a claim for the number 1 shirt etc ... be a good runout and match fitness for fringe players

About time they got called up! Neither will play I suspect but at least it shows they're on the radar.

good luck to them and of course earnie and miller and darcy blake who have also been called up to represent their country,id hate to lose any game but as always the league is a priority so losing to a div 2 side will not be the end of the world,the timing of the friendlies are quite ridiculous to be honest but it will be good to see a few of the fringe players like mason,keinan and gestede to get a run out against oxford
