To be fair to him, alot of the time high balls were played to him and miller, probably the smalledt partnership you could get . But do agree we played better with the power of Gestede

In all fairness to Earnie he jumped well and won a lot of headers that Jay wouldnt have even jumped for last season. Obv this not a comparison but just an observation.

I think it was more to do with Ruddy coming on, gave us another option. IMO he has to start Sunday alongside earnie or miller

Agreed 1st half too many long balls which Miller and Earnie had no chance with, with Gestarde on, well what a difference.

Agreed two small strikers and they still kept pumping high balls up to them,but when Gestede came on it was a different kettle of fish,for me its got to be him & Miller as first choice strikers.

Can Rudy do that over 90 minutes though? Malky will do what's right I am sure.

It's only 1 game but that has to give the squad confidence.
