If West Ham sign Carew before 5pm today

Is he eligable to play tomorrow? I think 5pm is the cut off time isn't it? But as our fixture was originally scheduled for today before the police and FA decided to put it back to tomorrow, would that make any difference in whether he is eligable to play or not?

Yes, I have found out he had to sign by 5pm yesterday to be eligable, so good news for us. Still a tough enough task ahead mind.
