Meet Malkay Mackay

Wed Aug 03, 2011 9:33 pm

Just Back from the non social club in rhydyfelin, must be said what a sound bloke we have in charge.

I mean he is very direct in the way he wants the players to not only take care of the on and off field matters, but also the science behind the game, diet, player welfare, he has even appointed a coach who specialises in science technology surrounding sports professionals.

Every question asked was replied with a very sound answer, very acute and remained professional even when asked about CB39.

Questions were asked about langstone, the pitch lights, sharing with the Cardiff blues also questions to all attendees, Malky, earnie, david kerslake, gethin and Hudson.

I honestly feel we have a possible top 4 premiership manager :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Sounds a good bloke - but only results will dictate if he's any good at the end of the day .

hot air is one thing - performance is another .

Many of you fall for a good talker - many of you ran to Ridsdale meetings for years being sucked in and kissing his ass

totally agree mm sounded very positive and on top of things also gethin jenkins spoke very well :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Daya is right.

The proof of the pudding is in eating.

Having said that, you can only judge on first impressions and that is that Malky is sound.

Being a nice guy doesnt get you results though and that is where he will ultimately be judged.

Daya honestly kid he seems a different league compared to jones, I know what you mean about the results, simple fact is with Cardiff, even if Sir Alex ferguson failed to win his first 10 games we would all be kickin off.

However, just seems perfect in a way in which he visioned the club, Gethin too, I for one cannot wait til Sunday, it's a hard place to go as you well know but, I can see us getting a result there, and to be honest if we got a point from UP I'd be over the moon.

What spiel is that ? He don't spin bullshit says it as it is - have you not heard him ?

He don't need to run round holding " fans meetings ". These are propaganda meetings with an agenda why you think they have em ?

From experience - sent me an accusing email , my response stunned him out proved factually he was talking bollocks , didn't have the bollocks to respond and then the sly games started .

Fact.

Daya, got to disagree, I remember the rick wright days down butlins in barry, Majestic as It was called back then, and to meet all the players and back room staff was a huge thing, Christ I was only about 14, but I loved em, similar to the Fa cup final meet the day after the cup final, I think a show of unity with all the fans is great to see.

A huge improvement to the 6 years under moans.

I've nothing against Mackay at all - I wish him well and hope he does the business , but as you know it's all about what happens on the pitch - it's a results business .

I'm not a fan of these fans meetings they normally come with an agenda

We have seen it all before

Just like players in the press - SHUT Up and get on with the job !

Mackay. Comes across a nice fella agree - he will Suss Jenkins out soon if he is as canny as others say.

no he dont run round holding fans meetings hes so far up his own arse he wont meet ordinary fans he thinks hes way to good for that he wants to do all his talking on the back pages where he dont have to respond to anyone and just constantly runs people down who dont think along the same lines as his lordship

fine for kids agree - not grown up men though - have to disagree on this one mate .

always an agenda. strange how the CEO wants to meet the fans ? I can understand a manager having a bit of banter with the fans but why the so called CEO ?

Jenkins was Jones hanger on not long ago - didn't take him long to try and roll him and his staff over !

A huge improvement to the 6 years under moans.

Just returned from the meeting was very impressed by Malky and also his backroom Staff which included Dave Kerslake i have no doubt that we will see every player giving 100% to the last minute in every game under Malky and his staff :ayatollah:

Also asked Hudson if he felt there was a percieved divide between players and fans last season and also asked why the players did not acknowledge the away support many times last season, Huds replied he did not feel that there was any divide between players and fans but to his credit apologised if us fans felt that way last season and promised to acknowledge the support this season and this was reaffirmed by Malky who felt like myself the bond between players and fans was important :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Your a very bitter person - must live in Cynon Close .

Anyway if you ever met him you would find him to be totally the opposite to your claims .

also Mr Gold is a perfect Gentleman one of the nicest persons you could meet - Gives time to everybody , especially young fans . True heroes , true British owners of a British football club

Re: Meet Malkay Mackay

That's the trouble with some people, they won't let the past go.

This club needs a fresh faced translucent management team, one in which under VT and GT we have, but yet all the conspiracy theorists who support this club feel there is always a reason, or agenda for what young kids as young as 10 to meet and greet there stars.

I'm not having a dig Daya as to be honest mate, I read a lot on he but don't Get involved in the politics of aamb or ccmb, yet your a die hard hammers fan who has a strong opinion on Cardiff City. That may or may not be your place and experience to say that, all I'm saying is we have west ham in 4 days and I for one cannot wait to get to London and show the London police that times have moved on.

I have respect for your opinion mate even though we disagree .

Cardiff City are paying for it because of MET cock ups . It doesn't get mentioned down here but they still have not recovered from not having any control at the West Ham v Millwall game 2 years ago - it was a full blown riot and the MET were totally shown up as they had no control at all

it's not the Cardiff fans fault really , it's the MET who fear being ever shown up like that again .

They got smashed that day ( yes I was there ) and they have never recovered from it

that's the real truth mate

cynon close Beddau . No need to say more . Do you know it ?

your just bitter regards Sullivan because you believe the myth of Cardiff ownership etc .

Most of it was hope and also press bollocks - It was his brother who is the city fan - did you know even when he tried to buy the club for his brother , kumar and bob Phillips blocked the deal last minute for greed .

He kept his word tried to buy the club for his brother Clive and was totally blocked from doing so . That's hardly his fault is it ?

Lay the blame elsewhere mate - that's all FACT I should know I was the smokescreen to the press at the time when they were trying to scupper who Mr X was from jersey

Check the mirror etc from the time - Gorman fell for big time !!! The things you do for your pals hey !!!

All I'll say is Gethin is a good guy and will do the very best he can (and at the moment I believe he's doing a great job)

No hidden agenda, no ego, just gets on with the job.

Also extremely humble - which makes a refreshing change
