Help Regarding Being Paid

Tue Jul 26, 2011 10:32 am

I left my Job last week at William Hill and it did not go well to be honest, handed in my notice on the tuesday and someone decided to tell them i was leaving before the manager had even got the letter so she rings me blablabla and was very very rude to be honest. So i basically thought fuk it i aint working the rest of the week now then il leave now, finished my shift of an never went back. Now i only contracted to work 16 hours per work but i was working near enough 40 hours most weeks. And now today i have had my pay slip for tomorrows pay and it says basically i am getting paid £0.00 now how can they do that if i worked around 140 hours that month? Thats fukin crazy. Anything i can do guys??

First thing you need to do is write back and inform them what you think they owe you. In the letter give them at least 7 days notice to pay wlese you will have to seek further advice.

if that fails then I advise people to go straight to their citizens advice bureaux (CAB). If it comes to that just drop me a pm.

You have 2 choices:
1. Stick the head on her
2. Seek legal advice at the citizens advice bureau if you have employment problems. :D

 I rang HR and they said all they have done is stopped my pay for the time being so they re calculate my wages so they do not overpay me and he said if i arnt paid tomorrow it should be in there sometime soon but if its not in tomorrow to call back

So she may get lucky and i wont have to stick the head on her ( Shes a jack bitch to)

CAB are usually very very busy may be worth giving Community Legal Advice a ring - 0845 345 4 345.
If the cost of the call is a problem they will ring you straight back.
They deal in Employment, and if you're eligible for the service they will put you straight through to a specialist, if not they will find you someone else. This will depend on your wage and out goings in the last calendar month only.
If you want to know if your eligible before phoning PM me your gross wage in last month and your rent costs, also if you own a property and have any children, and I'll let you know. Don't need any other details and I'm not dodgy.....promise

noticed it's now not an issue, but worth making a note just in case it escalates.
