Spoke to Martin John down the Vale this evening

Didn't recognise him at first so I asked him if he was a new signing, when he said he was here last year and he was Martin John I felt a bit stupid. 
Anyway, I asked him what he thinks of Malky so far and he replied with one word to describe him - special. He says the whole squad are a lot closer together this season. It seems Malky definitely has the backing of the players.

I was surprised as I thought we released him too. But he was in the City training kit, maybe Malky wants to take a look at him?

He played against Burton Albion in the League Cup, but vanished after that. Glad that he seems to have had another chance though.

Yes he must be. I first noticed him at around 5.30, he did a bit on the running machine and then went into the weights room. He had the City training top, shorts and socks on, that's why I wondered if he was a new signing at first. Just googled him and it was definitely Martin John. Another player was up there as well, he looked like Wildig but i'm not 100% sure if it was him.
