Let's get 20 thousand plastic fans out there buying City shirts etc and put money into our coffers. Need to get to the Prem though and stay there for that to happen. No harm in dreaming though.

It depends what you want from the club really.
IMO
We have a massive hardcore of about 5000
Around another 8000 good supporters
and another 5000 solid supporters.

I think we then have abothe 5000 who flicker from game to game depending on success.

My opinion is fill every seat an always will be. I hate the term plastic as to me it would mean averag attendances like we used to of max 5k but football has evolved, we have new fans.

If we don't have "plastic" fans we will never be a big club, success is build on a solid foundation and bringing in Malaysia is genius and could really make us. Will we lose our identity? No, I don't see how we can?

have said all along it will only benefit the club if we go up and stay up
The challenge in Asia is 90% of people here "support" Man U or L'pool, you see a few Gooner and Chelski shirts, never see a Man City or Geordie (Or Jack  )
The difference for the City is Vincent Tan which is exactly why we have Malaysia on our shirts

We have a massive hardcore of close to 18,000 fans mate.

Anyone who purchases a season ticket has got to be considered
hardcore, they are paying in advance irrespective of how the
season may go. Admittedly a few hundred may just be quite well
off and wont bother with many games.

But the majority of those 18,000 will be there week in week out
next season.

They are our bread and butter fans, cant fault them

Are you really a swansea person or did you just copy and paste from some other site? Apart from the odd spelling error that is quite a remarkable insight so congratulations my left leaning friend.

Aye Everton are a big club with much history, Leicester on the other hand is just a shit hole, shouldn't be mentioned in polite company and Luton aside I really can't think of a place more deserving of the plague.

Indeed Everton are sponsored by a large far eastern company the other I know not but rest assured my premier league bum chum our VT and his business droogs have considerably more Euro's than both put together. I wouldn't be at all suprised if he didn't own both company's.

Now run along and bother the big boys in the playground, I'm sure both Manchester City and United, Liverpool, etc message boards are awaiting your input with eager anticipation. :)

If we can't crack Malaysia, why would a multi multi multi millionaire tycoon from Malaysia - invest in our club?

Just asking...

no im not faulting anyone who comes to a game.
and yes we now have a hard core of around 18,000 but that hasn't always been the case, this fan base has risen because of our success and we need these fans and more for the club to grow. My point being if we are successful even further then these so called plastic fans from malaysia could be massive for the club and should be welcomed with open arms as it wasnt long ago a lot of our fans base could be deemed as plastic and are now 'hardcore'.
