Know we're all getting pretty sick and bored of this subject now but just found this on wales online from neil lennon:

Celtic manager Neil Lennon claims he is "not over-confident" of signing Cardiff City target Craig Bellamy - because of the Welsh striker's high wage demands.

The Old Firm manager said the chances of Bellamy rejoining the Scottish club were a "remote possibility" - increasing the chances of last season's Bluebirds captain returning to the Welsh capital for the next campaign.

However, with a number of Premier League interested in securing the out-of-favour Manchester City forward's signature, a move back to Cardiff City Stadium is still an outside chance.

Bellamy previously enjoyed a successful loan spell at Parkhead in 2005, but Lennon said that was unlikely to be repeated.

He said: “It looks like a remote possibility now.

“Unless some scenario comes up where he could come down a bit on wages.

“We’d need to know what the situation is and what the proposal would be.

“Peter Lawwell is looking at that, though I’m not over-confident on that one.”
