Just how good is this guy?

I have not seen much of him play and what I have seen has been on the subconscience, that is when we played Boro, so hardly know anything about him. I recall us all talking about Commingues and Naylor and look how they turned out. At the moment the only comforting call I have on this is that it was Mackey who picked him and not Jones.

Ian i have just come back from Turkey and was talking to a boro fan about him when it was first rumoured we were interested.The boro fan was full of praise for him and said he started off his career as winger but he had a certain Stewart Downing and Adam Johnson in front of him.So he reverted to a left back, Supposed to be quick and obviously likes to get forward.
Very good vibes about this one.

why was he loaned out to watford last year if he was so good? Injury, loss of form? I have to say i really dont know too much about him!

Strachan didn't play him then got sacked, Mowbray came in and recalled him from watford.
