Pay as you play means you've doubts he can get anywhere close to playing a full season, so you need another option in to cater for when he can't play.

So why bother giving him a contract, if you've got to get others in anyway?

A prem club would give him pay as you play easily, he is a top-quality player when fit.

If he dropped down he would want a proper contract no doubt - would be the eat CM in the division by miles though.

yes you would be stupid to say no. pay as you play for one of the best english players. he has had his injury problems but so did bellamy. if you train and play the player to his condition you can get past injuries. over training causes injuries.
