The Mackay/Conway/Goodie factor...

Sat Jun 25, 2011 6:20 am

Mackay researches potential signnings in the old fashioned and proper way by actualy going to watch games this is one of the reasons why Conway was so impressed with our new manager's approach to the game and upon talking to him has been excited by MM's ambitions and enthusiasm for CCFC

MM went to watch CC play last year and this is where the "good one" caught his eye

CC has been buzzing since wed and his mate has sensed after a good few calls there is something special going on in Cardiff

Just the fee to be agreed which will happen, he is on his way!!!!!!! ;)

Bob, Yes I agree you have to see these players first hand, thats where DJ let himself down badly in his last 2 -3 yrs he hardly ever saw a player before he bought them.

Mackay certainly seems to have taken to the Cardiff City fans and there is certainly a feel good factor about the place.

I liked the way Watford kept the game moving last season. When they were attaching and have a throw in, they did not wait for their full back to jog up and take it, DJ style. Also at free kicks and goal kicks, Watford take them quickly to keep the pressure on, where as with DJ it was a case of wait until everyone is in position before you take the kick.
