anyone on here done yoga? .... if so is it any good? ... im coming up 45 next month and not feeling as flexible as i did in my 20s and 30s or even last year..... does yoga really help or is it just a pile of old bollox!

Go for it. I've been doing it for 3 years. I tell you what your in for a shock it's had going for the first few months until your core muscles are developed.
I've been slagged out for doing it but I've taken lads who regularly play rugby and soccer and they're not able for it.
Get prepared to sweat buckets just by standing still.

No mock, i know of a lot of proffesional sportsmen who do it. A fair few opening bowlers do it to help strength flexibility etc

Give Bikram Hot Yoga a go. It's pretty nuts to be honest, you come out of the session feeling like you have done a full on cardio session absolutely drenched in sweat. It's great for loosening up joints etc but on the downside people do occasionally pass out or throw up because of the heat. Not too sure if there are any studios in Cardiff doing it though, popular out here though.
