shows how much you watch of him...

he has been the stand out player for forest and wales recently and i think were lucky to get him on a free in what could be his last few years at peak level

Which is why Forest are desperate to keep hold of him.

They offered to halve his current wage.

and we offered bothroyd, an england international an extra 1k a week and sold chopra on the cheap due to his high wages.

times are hard with money and championship wages will be dropping !!

Are we talking about the same player? The one who regularly scored over 20 goals a season and fired us to promotion? Who has scored a hat trick at every level he has played? The guy who has a goal every other game scoring ratio? Well if what you say is correct we certainly dont want such a player on a FREE transfer! No ones saying he is Ronaldo but at this level, on a free, he would be a fantastic addition to the squad! The fact he loves Cardiff and actually wants to be here is a huge plus as well

Right.

Forgetting sentiment.

What did Robert Earnshaw do at Forest last season that would make us
want to sign him if we'd never heard of him before??

He is 30 years old, he was never a first team regular. He scored 9 goals.

Come on gents, take the name R***** E******* out of the equation and you'd
all be scratching your heads if the Club were trying to bring him in.

Be honest

He scored 9 goals coming off the bench, some of them in vital games! He never complains, he just gets on with things. Surely if we sign him on a free, and we get bellamy, he will be a fantastic player to bring off the bench? No ones expecting him to bang in 30 goals next season, but if he scores between 10-15, and plays with pride and passion, then he will have played a huge part. Personally i think that is realistic and its a no brainer

exactly....i mean why dont people realise we have little money and he is FREEEEE. a proven goalscorer at every level and got 9 goals from the bench !

we only have parkin up front guys. we cant afford to buy 3 new strikers so lets sign players who are free and want to play for us. we missed passion last year and he wont lack it
