COULD WE POSSIBLY SIGN ONE OF THESE?

Tue Jun 21, 2011 8:03 pm

DAVE JONES - PREVIOUS CLUB WOLVES: 26 yrs old free transfer , showed great potential last season.. can also still qualify to play for Wales.. defensive midfielder who wouldnt command big wages

TAMIR COHEN - PREVIOUS CLUB BOLTON 27 yrs old free transfer, isreali international midfielder who holds duel passports means he can play in any eu country and not be classed as a foreigner .. may stay in prem and was on a reported 15k per week...

BENJANI MWARUWARI PREVIOUS CLUB BLACKBURN 32 yrs old free transfer zimbabwe international 44 caps 29 internatioanl goals, superb goal ratio once of man city and portsmouth.. dosnt want to be a squad player , but wages could be a stumbling block...

DAVID NUGENT PREVIOUS CLUB POMPEY 26 yrs old free transfer. just 1 england cap and 1 goal , always seems to do well in the championship, may have been on stupid wages at pompey , but may well be prepared to drop for 1st team football and a new challenge..

KEIRON WESTWOOD PREVIOUS CLUB COVENTRY 26 yrs old free transfer, one of the leagues star preformers this yr and one of the best keepers we saw all year at the ccs this yr.. may move to prem but hasnt yet.. could we get in there and nick him...

INIGO CALDERON ZAPATERIA CURRENT CLUB BRIGHTON... 29 yrs old right back , could he be the man to solve our right back problems, nominated in the league 1 team of the season and wouldnt necessarily cost the earth to get... great name too..

Here is just a short list of some decent players where the majority we could get for nothing..

wouldnt have to break the bank and i think could do a great job for us...

We've just got rid of a Dave Jones

Would look to stay in Prem, wages too high.

Age means not too long left in the tank, wages... better days behind him. No real upside.

DAVID NUGENT PREVIOUS CLUB POMPEY 26 yrs old free transfer. just 1 england cap and 1 goal , always seems to do well in the championship, may have been on stupid wages at pompey , but may well be prepared to drop for 1st team football and a new challenge..

Would be very much a punt; player whose career has slumped big time.

Absolutely no chance, will be Prem bound.

INIGO CALDERON ZAPATERIA CURRENT CLUB BRIGHTON... 29 yrs old right back , could he be the man to solve our right back problems, nominated in the league 1 team of the season and wouldnt necessarily cost the earth to get... great name too..

Brighton won't sell players on the cheap. Right back not a problem area - Quinn, Super Kev good enough.

Tamir Cohen is a good shout :ayatollah:

i'd take David Jones too

Westwood will be off to the Prem, and we definitely dont need a right back

not a bad idea, could have some influence over other clubs? unless he stays in prem,

surely though if he was staying in prem , he would have signed for someone by now, or at least be in talks..
