I think he was interviewed but wasn't offered the job, so when the news broke about him being our manager, he made the statement that makes it look like he turned us down....................

The only thing I did hear was Tommy Craig was going to be his AM.

Tommy Craig is one of the best coaches in the UK. Craig did all the coaching at Newcastle when they became a power house in English football for a few seasons.

Does it matter? Do you really care?
I haven't given shearer, hughton etc etc another thought in the slightest. I'm amazed people keep going on about them, along with DJ. I was a DJ fan and will still defend him if i feel it's needed but I never mention him otherwise.
