All these managerial claims!!

I'm not saying people are Talking bollox but answer this,

How has Malky makay been interviewed and told he has the job prior to today? If that is the case how the fook do people on messageboards know this? It would be blatant illegal approach! I am staggered how an illegal approach would be let out on messageboards prior to the official one today?

No one knows but plenty are willing to speculate and call it fact.

Clearly some people have contacts who provide a mix of information, misinformation and opinion - but the record for accuracy is very mixed. I will continue to treat all updates and scoops as entertaining gossip (that may be right), but not FACT.

In the Malky Mackay case I doubt there was any interview or direct contact before the agreement from Watford today to allow talks - but I am sure Gethin Jenkins indirectly sounded him out via his agent - in the way that all clubs do. They must have had a signal that an approach would be welcomed.

But that is nothing more than opinion - and I recommend that no-one goes anywhere near a bookies on the strength of it.
