Interesting tactic by MM.
Why would he cause the upheaval at Watford including forcing the board to allow him to speak to Cardiff and alienating the Watford fans just to turn down a job that his representatives had already put to him?
Let's wait and see.

Don't get me wrong I know it may have broken down. I was replying to foreverhorn who seemed elated because he keeps his manager. When I think MM has left Watford whatever happens at Cardiff.

not at all, most of us have been for interviews before - been offered the job and decide we are better off where we are.
it's just that football is all out in the open. once again LMFAO. Sir GT will understand he's been there himself!

Just read on twitter that the rumours about talks with MM breaking down are false
Thu Jun 16, 2011 7:57 pm
@Observer_Owl Watford Observer
Claims Malky Mackay has turned down the Cardiff City job are false #watfordfc
Thu Jun 16, 2011 7:57 pm
Dont know how true it is. But I have also been told talks have broken down

This saga really has shown what a disgrace our club is at the moment
Thu Jun 16, 2011 8:05 pm
This saga just shows how powerful the internet and message boards are. Like Wikipedia people assume everything posted on them is FACT but anyone can start a rumour using the boards or Twitter or Facebook etc. before the internet the first we would have known about a new manager was when he was announced to us all on tv. We need to remember to approach this thing with an open mind.

So how many people have Ssn on
Thu Jun 16, 2011 8:08 pm
Can we please now try and bring in Chris Hughton if the deal is off ? I never wanted Mackay anyway.. Cause the way I see it, if this getting a manager buisness is not sorted asap we could end up with Terry Burton in charge as our care taker manager.

I think he is yours fair play lads and all the best for the season, Malky really is a good man - to be fair we messed him around when Boothroyd left - gave him the job as caretaker then appointed Judas Rodgers. He then got the job and did a great job and brought along our young players. To be fair he has only posted two finishes of 14th but played good attacking football. Can't see any of our youngsters being ready for your big ambitions.
Its been fun jesting with you.

I have a mole in the club, and my mole says talks have broken down with Mackay.. Hope the ground staff can get the mole hole filled in on the pitch by the time the friendlys start.
