" GAMBLING "

WAS THIS ALL ABOUT GAMBLING ?

Heavy Bets placed, Mackay went back to 5/1 yesterday, During All this Nonsense, Then Heavy Bets were placed on Mackay Hmm

ITS EITHER A SHAMBLES or Hmm or VERY CLEVER GAMBLING ? Hmm My Opinion.

A lot of money can be made and lost with such market turbulence.

Its funny how a lot of money was spent in Euros though in Ireland over the weekend and not in pounds sterling ...... what's that all about I wonder ? Somebody being very clever I think especially as Mackay went out to 5 - 1 last night !

If TG/VT did this to exploit the betting market to make some money, and thats put into club, that would be very very shrewd indeed, obviously could never be proved bu..... :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

it was only about a week agao that you could also get 5 - 1 for Bellamy joining CCFC , odds were then slashed not long afterwards !

Have they raised enough to pay Sam yet ? this could go on for months.

Whats the odds TC on starting the season without a Manager ?

My mate " squeuky" reckons Jenkins is at it big time on the betting.

FOOTBALL FIXTURES OUT Tomorrow :?: And still NO Manager,

Give it 2 more weeks and NO MANAGER Will Be ODDS ON ;)

They might make this a 1st the bookies and have No Manager in their betting ;)

It's neither.

If you watch the Manager markets on Betfair, people act like lemmings and pile in on whoever has been mentioned the most that day.

They are extremely volatile and generally the only people to make big bucks are the people with inside info, but even then like last night, things can change at the last minute. Because the markets are based on gossip and innuendo, the bookies are hyper-sensitive and will slash prices instantly, i'm sure Top Cat will confirm this.

For example I tried to get £100 on Shearer last night with William Hill and they refererred it to a trader ! I am a bit of a punter and I can get £500 on another market no problem online, without it being referred. As it happened last night, they would only let me have £50 on and so I tried under another username - it got knocked back and they cut the price by a whole point within minutes !

What Irish players from the Cork area (where a lot of the betting was done) do we still have on our books?
