Alan Shearers image and our budget!

I believe he will get a MASSIVE transfer fund.
Shearer is different to every other up and coming manager in the country because he also has to be concerned about his brand.
He'll understand that a poor managerial spell early in his career, will tarnish his brand and cost him in the long run.
Alan Shearer has a big profile and image to maintain and I can't see him wanting to risk that for a Championship club he has no affinity with.
I should imagine he will have made the Malaysians agree a massive transfer fund and I would imagine he's probably done some costing already or lined up some people he could bring in...
I'd expect someone like Lee Clarke, Rob Lee, Chris Hughton or Iain Dowie to also come in as his number two.

Or Shearer could not worry about his brand, having excuse after excuse ready, knowing he can easily go back into media work, should he fail. Same as his Newcastle stint - relegate? Well, damage already done. No lose situation for him.

It has already been told that the buget will be 20mil that is for wages also .
