PROMOTION PUSH WITH SHEARER

Besides the undoubted commercial benefits of Shearer's appointment as Manager there is another way of looking at this i.e. the Malaysians are signalling their wish to go for promotion BIG TIME.

Why? Because of Shearer's apparent pulling power to bring the best players to City and his huge standing and contacts in the game.

I also believe that he would be more than prepared to bring back our talisman and captain Bellars for the greater good of the club(even if it means burying a few hatchets).

The Board have got to make a statement to this effect to justify Shearer's appointment and keep if not raise the faith.
