Forgot to say, another reason why i've brought this up again is following a program on TV tonight about the banks and how they haven't 'looked after' the interest of it's custoemrs.
In general terms, we've found that people who have taken out life insurance with their bank generally don't have a competetive product because they can only offer products from their one insurer, where as we (as an independent broker) are not tied to any one provider and can look at all of the options available to ensure you get the right product at the most competetive price!
Not sure if anyone else saw the program, but it made interesting viewing!
