Pearce stated that if England had a lot more of the ball they would have hammered Spain Bearing in mind they were outplayed and hardly could get hold of the ball
what a pathetic statement

But I agree with what he said.....Spain never looked like scoring but when England got going they did. It's the way Spain play try and keep the opositon form having the ball so they can't score rather than score themselves but I can;t see them winning the tournment to be honest

Made perfect sense to me.....I think what he said was if England had the possession Spain had....they would have scored a few more than Spain managed.......I think that was a fair comment.
