i wouldve thought so yet he didnt have much money to play with at watford, they werent the best, defensively

for us, i think all other positions need sorting before the defence, he can use his knowledge to tighten ours up for sure

The defence needs continuity and stability. People say the defence is the side's weakest area ( ), yet all the defenders are good if not very good players at this level - Hudson, McNaughton, Gerrard, Quinn, Keinan, Blake are all good players. We just need that consistency of selection, and then we'll see a much better collective unit !

Look at Swansea - their defence hardly ever changes and they went up !
