I think the financial situation at Birmingham is behind this in my opinion. Their owners company is skint and on the verge of folding maybe McLeish has been told he has to sell his best players and rely on free transfers , Burke and King are good examples.
I expect more departures from Birmingham which may well have a bad effect on their chances this season, remember they are in thr europa league this coming season.
It's a nightmare for the club.
