Done we have a squad full of semi decent players already though, we need more quality.

The club still don't know who the new manager is yet
This was done to suit the club and the player, and also to pay off Sunderland.

happy to say goodbye,£20000 a week for not alot back
Fri Jun 10, 2011 4:17 pm
I wouldn't go as far to say I was happy to see him go, but it was the right decision to sell at this point. He was clearly not wanted at the club, evident from his sale despite not having a manager. Insiders at the club obviously saw that he wasn't fitting in, and I'm certain that any managerial candidates would have agreed to his sale if they wanted the job, or at least saw and understood why the club wanted shot of him.

Im just hoping the 20k is to now pay Bellamy his wage
Fri Jun 10, 2011 4:26 pm
I was going to say if that £20k a week can now help fund Bellamy then I have no issue with him going. Chopra gave us some amazing moments but he had gone off the rails and it was at a stage where I don't know if he was able to be saved.

I'm happy he's gone as he was the last of the 'BOOZEGATE' players left at the club. We needed a cleanout and need to bring in a new generation of hungry players.
I'm sad that he left under a cloud but it is certainly good for the club.

50/50
When on form, he's one of the best strikers in the Championship. But unfortunatley for us, he had a bad season and he lost his touch.
I think he'll do well at Ipswich.

I was hoping, when he returned from Sunderland, that he would go on to be a club legend. Shame.
