Most players are understandaby enthusiastic about their new club .

Not many have such good words about their previous club.

burke really cared about this club. would have loved to see him in the squad for next season because of his hard work and fight but obviously he has moved on. good player, hope he doesn't cause us too much trouble next season

Burke was a fans favorite because of his 100% attitude and his willingness to take people on. Good player and I will always think well of him, but for me his final ball into the box always let him down.

Quite rightly he enjoyed it here, first team football, good wages and the fans adored him (i for one aren't different), but fair play to him for saying, how many others players have come out and said this??

Chris Burke is a class act.

He presented the trophies at my sons football presentation day a couple of weeks ago.

He was brilliant with the kids. A nicer guy it would be difficult to meet.

A shame that he's gone but I echo some of the others views, that his effort was always great but his final ball was often disappointing.

Good luck to the lad in the future.

Burke was a great player for us the last few seasons. I am very sad to see him go. A great guy and a great player who will be very hard to replace.

Cheers for giving 100% for Cardiff, shame some of the other f*ckers didnt.

Met him at the player of the year awards and a top guy, seemed keen to stay but at the end of the day money rules and I don't blame him for that at all. He gave his all in a city shirt and respected us when he left.

Burkey was good for us, saw out his contract and wasn't one of the pissheads that let us down at the end of the season, so he's entitled to go where he wants!

If somebody gave you more money to clean toilets, I'm sure you'd give up your lavatory attendant's job with the council to do so wouldn't you?
