Leave the suits to the board room, he is (was) the head of the playing staff, not CID. Show the players you're PART of the squad. Sounds trivial but these small factors add up to create one gaping whole, with manager on one side of it and the squad on the other....that lead to squad members drowning their misery and costing us promo
How many managers before wore suits....not too many in my lifetime. Franky B, Lennie, Corky, Billy Ayre (R.I.P) and so on..... Bobby Gould did but I always hated that t*#t!
