ANYONE THINK PARKIN SHOULD START NEXT SEASON?

could he work with chops, or if he goes, earnie?

or should we buy a new target man and use parkin as a impact player?

He wasn't given enough of a chance this season. Don't get people saying he hasn't looked upto standard - hasn't had enough of a chance.

Agreed, and think him and Earnie (praying) would work well, like the good old Peter Thorne and Earnie days. Add Bellamy whizzing around to the equation and I think that'd be a top strike force!

I think Parkin is very underrated to be honest.

People need to give the guy a chance, his debut goal at norwich was world class.

I've seen him play for Preston against us and he seemed to be quality. He did very well in a poor Preston side. Obviously, Parkin's not going to bag you 20 goals a season but imo he can do a job at this level.

Imo when i saw him against us for Preston last season he looked domminent and played well against us as he has on many occasions and i thought at the time cardiff need a player like that. When he came to us i thought g8 signing however he has been a massive dissapointment for me. However if he starts regular who knows he may hopefully prove me wrong. so my answer is why not if we aint signed anyone. Cant be any worse than Andy Keogh starting what a relief hes gone what a waste of money keogh was !!

Every striker we played against looked good against our defence. I'm my opinion he is crap.

I dont think unless we have a sublime midfield he should paly at all....

if we rely heavily on strikers scoring he should be on the bench.
if we got alot in midfield, then parkin can add size and stength rustle the game up a bit
