if West Ham Take Jones ?

Why do we have to pay Jones £300K compo, surly if he is under contract to us, they should have to pay CCFC compo for pinching a manager under contract...it could only happen to Cardiff City.

Surely the £300k compensation that Carl talks about is what West Ham will pay us for Dave Jones...

Amazingly we have to remember Jones is still taking a pay cut so he is within his rights to ask for his remaining year to be paid unless he quits.

If CCFC just want rid of him then 300k is better than 800k

If West ham TAKE Jones away from Cardiff then the £300k that is being banded about is the compensation due TO Cardiff City FC - Payable by WEST HAM - as the Manager was still under contract with us.

The Manager is still liable to ask for his contract to be paid up depending on the negotiation outcome between all three parties!

Think you all missed the part when Carl changed what he said, WHU are supposedly paying £300k to CCFC as compo.
Of course this is only if the rumour is actually true.
