It's pretty obvious that Jonesy ain't gonna get us across that finishing line, he had a good squad of players last season and still we're exactly where we were 12months ago.
I'm sure he would have no difficulty in getting us a mid table finish next season if given the opportunity albeit probably on a reduced budget.
It's an unpleasant thought that he may be given yet another bite of the cherry, but it may be cheaper to carry on with him than pay him off.
But I'm sure we could find a more than suitable replacement for less money than he picks up each year/month, if the news filtering out from the CCS next week indicates that he'll stay on as manager then there will be a feeling of great disappointment from many City fans me included, by the same token a lot of fans will be pleased, we can only wait with baited breath.
