Jones / The Club ruined Bothroyds contribution

By not sitting down with Jay last summer and offering him a decent contract Jones and the Club has ensured that we get feck all for him now his contract is up BUT more importantly allowed him to return to his old ways making him often ineffective during key games. We all know that Jay came to us with some baggage... Jones seemed to get the best out of him but by allowing him to wind down his contract was asking for trouble wasn't it? The whole thing is a complete disaster. If Jay had signed a contract who knows what his contribution would have bee over the last 4 months.
