Where are we

It's fair to say that once our loanees and out of contract players have departed, we are around 8 players short, unless we get substantial funding how are we going to fill the gap, loanees again or as has been rumoured, the pick of the lower leagues and acadamy players. You can be sure that out of the 3 teams coming down, 2 will almost certainly go straight back up, leaving the rest to fight it out for the play offs, unlike this season where the teams that came down were weak(I suspect Brighton and Soton to do well also), we have just blown our best ever chance. Any new manager coming in is going to have to build a team from scratch I know we would love Martin O'Neill but he left Villa because of lack of funds, why the hell would he come to us. There is a danger that consolidation is going to be the likely outcome but with who in charge, if the Malaysians are watching the purse strings(bearing in mind how much we owe and the debts being called in) we might see a Burton/Bellers team but with you know who as director of football until his 12 months is up(unless he walks of course).
